My name is Tahlia, owner and trainer at Canine Heroes Dog Training. With a great love of animals and a passion for helping people, I decided to pursue dog training as a way to help improve the lives of both. Dog ownership can be hard, and while it might not always be as fun as you expected, I am here to remind you that this is ok, and way more common than you think. I can assure you that there is hope, and through education, accountability and support, I can help to identify your dog's issues and achieve your dog training goals. Ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and enriching life with your beloved canine companion.

I appreciate that every dog is different, which means training approaches may vary to find what works for your dog and your unique situation. I am always open to exploring a range of training techniques and styles to help you reach your goals. I possess extensive experience working with all breeds and I am certified by the National Dog Trainer Federation of Australia. I’m also committed to ongoing skill and knowledge development through the completion of regular seminars, courses and self-study. I have particular expertise in rescue dog rehabilitation, reactivity and puppy development.
